No mistake that is what I did.  The HV wire coming out of the
flyback is plugged right into one side of the cap.  and the
ground strap wire that used to run around the front of the 
monitor tube is connected to the other side of the cap.  I have
pulled it off and went back to the 9kv-at-30ma NST.  I will not
hook it back up for any reason until I hear back.
