Hi all,
 
I'm creating the XFRMR for my tesla, but I need to protect it from burning up
I plan on using a microwave transformer of 2300V at 400-600mA (or maybe 2 or
three in series to pump it up a little)
To protect my transformer from burning up I need to reduce the max current that
can be drawn when connected.
 
I've read about putting resistors in the schematics to do this, but I do not
know how to hook this up, or what value it should be
would an old heating element of a washing machine do good as a resistor for
this ? and where should it be connected ?
