Hi Nick,

Sorry, but I deleted your original post. I canīt identify
your tube. However, you mention that the unit it came
from, contained a 24kV capacitor bank. Was it
connected to the tube (directly, indirectly at all?). If
so, where and what value does the total cap bank
have? This might give a clue to what the tube did in
the circuit and what frequency it was running at.
Someone mentioned an X-Ray tube. Sounds possible
from what I remember of what you posted (anode
size, etc). Any other components?
