Scot, Just grind four flats onto the armature for a 1725 rpm motor, and it will work synch-ly. The dead zones, and types of wire, etc don't matter. If the motor armature is 3 3/8" dia, then make the flats about 1 1/16" wide. If the armature is smaller, then make the flats proportionally smaller. Cheers, John Freau
