RE: Flat spiral and cone secondary

There are no properties of a flat or conical secondary shape that are in any
way better than a simple solenoid that we all use. A conical form would be
much more difficult to find compared to widely available PVC pipe, and more
difficult to actually wind, and a flat spiral would be very difficult to
keep from arcing to the very-nearby primary coil (not to mention hard to
wind!).
