Hi Chris,
That what makes it so hard to tell what's going on. They, like all high
power caps, have solid foil layers at each end with a vacuum deposited
metal film layer in between. Every manufacturer says that a little
differently so it is hard to tell exactly what they have in them. Not all
manufacturers have good dV/dT or RMS current numbers so you really have to
dig to find out how good they are. The caps Garry had looked pretty good
on paper but when we dig deep we find they are unsuitable...
