pholp, i would imagine the tape would burn in two at the joint? when i have to join primary tube i get a piece of wire and put it inside the primary tube, some times i have soldered it but sometimes i had crimped it. i cant remember the gauge of the wire i used for 1/2" tubing, it might have been a piece of 3 g solid? marc
