     Buy a cheap drill&tap set, cost you $10 and you'll get tons of use out 
     of it.
     
     drill and tap the bottom of the supports for 1/4"x20 screws.
     
     Put corresponding 1/4" holes in the top deck.
     
     run 1/4" nylon screws up through the deck into the supports.  Watch 
     out because nylon screwheads strip easily.
     
     that's how i did it on my 12/60 coil.

I am about to construct my primary.
Many see to use HDPE for the supports and I would agree.
However, let's say you have a 1/2 inch thick by 2 inch tall strip (times 6 
or 8)
how do you attach that strip to your wood primary platform? 
Metal screws from beneath?
Epoxy? (does it stick?)
Silicon sealant?
Open to suggestions all (y'all)
