     I want to suggest a good alternative to flexible ducting for large 
     toroids.  We have used an inflated truck tire innertube, covered in 
     aluminum tape, as a large, cheaply constructed toroid for our Burning 
     Man shows.
     
     This is very durable solution, especially if your coil has to travel.
