BIG Snipperzzz....

I will agree   both trannie oil and kerosene are flamable given the right
enviroment ... and a cap with a shorting problem is the perfect enviroment ...

an arced out cap creates heat , bubbles of vaporized oil/kerosene that gathers
in the confines of the cap container   add a bit of oxy   and that stray spark
in that mixture ( vapor / oxy )  and pooffff...

just something to think about when designing homemade caps ....
