Subject: Terry's Fiber-Optic Probe Placement Error!
Hi All,
Finn, found a documentation error in the fiber optic probe plans for my
Tesla coil measurement system.
R109 and R110 on the receiver schematic and placement diagram are reversed.
The 220 ohm resistor should go across two of the LM337 pins while the 680
ohm resistor should go to ground.
The way it is now, the voltage from the regulator will set to -1.65 volts
instead of the -5.2 volts needed to power the receiver modules.
Simply switch the positions of the 220 and 680 ohm resistors in the LM337
(IC104) divider on the receiver.
Cheers,
Terry
