Hookup NST to sparkgap through protective network with any 18 AWG rated for
HV, ie, actual NST HV silicone wire available from any good neon shop.
Control circuit do with all #12 AWG wire.
Connect grounding rods and bottom of sec coil directly with either #6 AWG
stranded, or better yet, use #4 AWG fine stranded welding cable -- available
from any large welding supply shop or directly from Anixter Bros. (a wire
supply company) in Chicago, IL.
Keep us posted on how your coil works out.
