Just a question to anyone interested.   Has anyone done any research into the 
intensity and spectrum of light given off by the  arcing of a Tesla coil?  
Any possible hazard to retina of the eye?  Any of you guys use eye protection 
or filters?
Also, anyone research the possible level of more penetrating radiation such 
as gamma rays or X-rays?   Theoretically, it is possible for the voltages 
produced by TC's to accelerate electrons to momentums that could produce 
X-ray photons on impact with a target.
