I just wanted to mention, as I was studying some MMC power and current
ratings, I found that doubling the break rate will also directly double the
heating and power being dissipated in the primary cap. So, if your caps
get hot at 100 BPS they will get very hot at 200 BPS. There is a chance
that doubling the break rate my kill the caps depending on how much heat
they can dissipate and how much head room you have now.
Just a thought...
