Re: quiet spark gap ?

Hi!

I made a fairly quiet RSG by putting it in a small wooden chest with a lid
that I made. I have put (glued them on with two part epoxy) the two
stationary electrodes on an plastic rectangle (made out of ertalon 6 XAU,
same as the fly wheel), so that the electricity don't go through the
wood/glue. I didn't do that the 1st time and got a lot of smoke out of the
chest and the RSG didn't work because of the shortcut the electricity took.

Hope it helps.
