If you are running a pole pig --- yes.   If you are running a neon
transformer --- no, don't do this.  It will damage your NST in short order
because the rep rates is too high and it doesn't always fire at the peaks
which will allow potential resonant buildup to 2X or 3X Erms which will
damage xmfr.
