No shield needed, 1 pole only

It is the current charging the primary tank capacitor: max 20 kVDC, oscillating
there between 0 and 20 kV.

And I do I manage with the central conductor pin? Can you specify, please?

I got answers from Caton: their Series 14 measures 0.47" by 2" (very small).
Females are $25 priced and males $40: they come with cable already moulded (the
length you want). At the moment this is the best price / size / availability
balanced solution.
