Only if is a true synchro RSG.  A standard non-synchro RSG will blow the NST
in short order.  An 1800 RPM  4 electrode synchro RSG running 2 gaps on each
side of the rotor wheel (4 total gaps) all series connected seems to work
great with a NST.  Be sure to use resistor-capacitor protection on each
bushing of your NST (see the archives section for a schematic of this).
