Re: Winding primaries
If you want to keep your primary copper tubing windings from tarnishing go
to a local Marina and buy a tube of "Flitz". It will clean the copper very
nice and leaves a residue/coating that retards oxidation for nearly one
year. Your primary tap/alligator clip will bite through the coating to make
a good connection, or, if you are using a clamp size primary tap, then keep
the small area under the tap unflitzed.
It works great!!
