    You see that's why I want to know if anyone wants to go solid state.  I
went to the web site, and the wave forms say it all.  Absolute control is
better than a spark gap.  Impedance matching could do more.  I could use my
tuned primary step up at half the resonant frequency of the primary of the
tesla by chioce of capacitor of the primary of a second transformer.  Use a
solid state primer circuits for the conditions that were shown in my
simulations.
