I'm interested in studying the PDE's in more detail.  I don't plan to discover
anything new, I just want to get a little use out of all of those years of
high-speed math classes...  I also think that it will give me a little more
insight.  I have simulated many second order mechanical systems with cross
coupling (typically rotordynamics w/ gyroscopic effects), but never had the
opportunity to fool with the electrical side.

Can you recommend any papers or books that have a detailed mathematical
treatment of Tesla Coils?
