As I recall, the transformers will have a bit of "voltage fight" over what the
value across them will be.  I think it should be mentioned that by paralleling
transformers like this, some voltage tradeoff is made for the increased
current.
Also, two much of gap (like a 7.5KV and a 15KV) couldn't possibly be too good,
especially if the transformers are used/modified to begin with.  And nsts are
notoriously strange, so I would say that the only good time to do this is
when you
just don't care whether something pops.

But I'm still new, so I'm a little conservative when it comes to found HV
equipment.
