It is quite simple. I assume you are using a NST. Run a resistor off each
bushing (500-1500 Ohms). Next, from the end not connected to the HV bushing
you run a small cap to ground (50-150 pF value). Also from this common
connection you run through one more resistor (same value) to your sparkgap.
Essentially, two resistors in series with a cap to ground from each common
connection point on the two resistors. Mirror image this setup on the
opposite bushing. Always run the main sparkgap parallel to the output ---
never to the cap.
