That's really not bad at all for your first TC. My current project, still
using SW caps, pushes out 27" with a 12000V 60ma NST.

Moreinfo on your system, such as type/value of caps, demensions of
secondary, type of gap, if you have rf filtering, etc. Would be helpful
to anyone offering advice.

Using a larger terminal seems to be the most common solution, but be sure
to adjust the primary tuning for more turns if you choose this route.

I assume you're using a static gap, so just keep it as wide open as you
can and still have it fire reliably.
