A few comments.
Your cap is somewhat small. Typically for that size NST one uses around
.006uF, about twice what you have. What you suggest would work (assuming
your pri & sec resonate, I'll leave the calc's to you), but it would have
to discharge twice as often as the larger cap and put more of a strain on
it.
The solid 4AWG cable primary is overkill for your power level. It will
certainly work, but will be difficult to work with, winding-wise.
The primary inside diameter of 11 inches is way too generous for a 4 inch
secondary. You could get away with 6-7 inches. Also, the coupling may
be poor if it's that large.
Gap and secondary sound fine.
