Cashwise, a new neon transformer costs over a hundred dollars around
here,and I believe that's considered a large transformer for neon signs.
Teslacoilwise, it's better than what I use (15kV,30mA:) and it should
produce some nice output.
The problem is that 12000VAC is too much for the leyden jars. Perhaps
you should make your insulating material thicker, or use a different
material.
