I haven't personally fixed a Transformer myself yet.. but for your
question on using your conventional oven to reheat it...
I've read one on person's web page(i don't remmeber who) but when he
fixed his xformer, he didn' theat it up in his oven. instead, he used a BBQ
grill w/ a cookie sheet. After thinking about it for a while, i believe that
using a BBQ grill would be the best because:
1) You can actually "work" w/ the Xformer while it is heating up.
2) Any fumes/smoke created won't flood your kitchen/house
3) In a way, smaller mess.. and the fire is controllable which helps
a lot when heating up the xformer to prevent heat damage
to the actual coils.
