Hi list

A question for the ones in the know.
First off the power supply I am using is as follows--1*10Kv 50mA plus
3*10Kv 18mA 
OBITS all in parallel.
My secondary is 4.25" by 22" wound with 22AWG magnet wire, and discharge
length to date
is 26" to a grounded rod.
I know that the caps that I'm using are lossey and replacing them (SW
bottles)with
a good poly/ally/oil plate cap would help enormously.
As with current post Toroid size is an issue and gap type etc.

Now if I build a new secondary say 8" dia and wound to say 24-28"
height, would I see
an increase in discharge length.
Also is there a limit on secondary size when dealing with small input
power.
