Hey Kevin,
    I would use the oil you bought.  You could probably warm it a
little(taking care not to overheat the plastic or whatever dielectric you are
using) to aid in bubble removal.  You might try a test:  Use a pint of mineral
oil from the drugstore to thin some(maybe up to a gallon) of the oil you
bought.  If they mix easily, you could get the ideal viscosity.  I wouldn't
mind have mineral oil that is a bit more viscous than the drugstore variety.
  Just a thought.
