To anyone interested or in need, I have the converter file and will mail
it to anyone who e-mails me.

Here is what it says it can do:

Converting Between Microsoft Word 6.0, 95 and 97
The Microsoft Word 97 converter converts documents from Microsoft Word
97 format to Word 95, and Word 6.x for Windows, Windows NT, and the
Macintosh.
