Rene,
The direction of winding will only influence the phasing of the output
voltage in relation to the primary. It has no effect on voltage
level. This assumes, of course, that the base of the secondary is
RF grounded and is not connected in any way to the primary.
If the secondary is connected to TOP of the primary, and the bottom
of the primary is connected to RF ground, then the phasing will
have a small influence on output voltage, but not enough to be
noticeable. (It now has some auto-transformer characteristics)
Doing this is *NOT* recommended, especially with Neons!!
Bottom line is, don't worry about it. For all practical purposes
there is no difference.
