Hi, I have posted this question to this list a number of times but have
never had a reply.  There seems to be no real text out there dealing
with the chokes for transformer protection.

How do I size these?  What matereial do I use?  Is a ferrite cored one
better than an air core?
What guage/type wire do I use?  Can I use a ferrite am aerial rod?  Can
I use the square ferrite from a Flyback?  What about iron cored?

I would use large toroidal ferrites if these were available but they are
not.
