A "friendly" motor repair shop will give you some in a jar if you ask nice,
if you want a small quantity.

You can get it from many parts stores packaged by GC Electronics sells
Red-GLPT varnish, which is glyptal under a different name.

And of course, you can call Dolph's Electronic Resins, who make a variety
of insulating goop.

Finally, somewhere in the archives is the name of the company that actually
makes glyptal.

And, yes, you CAN cook a pop tart with a jacobs ladder, but getting it
evenly warmed up is a challenge.
