Sulaiman,

Unfortunately, for the Q's and breakrates seen in sparkgap driven
systems, this apparently doesn't happen. The energy from one bang is
completely dissipated before the next bang begins. 

In a Continuous Wave (CW) system, however, such as a vacuum tube coil
powered from a DC source, energy will build up in the secondary until he
rate of loss due to corona/streamers and other losses just equals the
power being put into the system.
