That bank you are referring to is most likey a bank of wine bottle
capacitors. Tesla used many arrangements of these in his tests in Colorado
Springs.

material by David Hatcher Childress ---- Barf , Gag --- (how do you spell
plagerism ) ? -----------I should'a known --- the " batteries " are supported
by
large insulators ---- the photo entitlement contains " banks of batteries "
