As you know the TC secondary voltage can only be roughly estimated at the
design stage. The JHCTES program uses an algorithm to estimate the sec
voltage based on several of the input parameters. A useful use of this
voltage is to divide it by the number of sec turns to find the volts per
turn. The program then uses this information to recommend a safe insulation
thickness for the sec wiring. This has proven to work very well.
The program is for classical coils only. A coil with the primary
inductance and capacitance the same as the secondary is not considered a
standard classical coil. Do you understand this is a weird coil ? What do
you expect to gain from building it ?
