I use EWB here with excellent results, from DC to VHF.
Have done quite a bit of TC modeling which appears to agree almost
perfectly with theoretical calculations. Likewise modeling of the
charging of capacitors from neon transformers in the presence
of periodic spark gap breakdown. You do have to be VERY careful
about how you set up the analysis options, however. Using too
few "points per cycle" can indeed make passive components appear
to oscillate, plus a number of other unreal things.
