John,
If you are talking about a distribution transformer ( pole transformer )
the highest standard voltage available on the high voltage side is
67,000 volts/ low voltage side 120/240 single phase at 500 KVA which is
rated at 2083 amperes at 240 volts on the low side and 7.5 amps on the
67,000 volt side. A unit this size will weigh somewhere in the
neighborhood of 6000-7000 pounds and if you can find one used or
reconditioned -which I doubt- should cost around $13,000.00 give or take
a few thousand. New, you don't even want to know.
You must be planning to build a really large coil! ;^)
