It depends a lot on the dia. of the sec. coil but usually around 24-30
inches with 3-4 dia sec and 36-44 inch with 8-10 inch dia sec. This is of
course assuming suitable toroid, proper spark quenching, and good coeff. of
coupling in the setup.
