Fr. Tom and all,

Tedd Payne dropped one of these off with me a while back. This one has
some type of built-in internal current limiting/crowbar circuit that
basically shuts down the output in the presence of a short circuit! Your
hunch seems to be correct - these probably won't be at all usable for
disruptive TC use!
