Dear Someone,
Get an insulating container and put the saltwater caps inside the container.
Fill the container with saltwater such that the level of water inside and
outside the caps is the same. As a further help, make sure that there are no
air bubble on the bottom of each bottle. The fuzziness you referred to is
coronas. It will break out anywhere that there is air instead of a good solid
electrolyte connection. No matter how well you put the aluminum foil on, you
will have that problem. The solution is to not use foil at all, but rather
immerse in electrolyte (saltwater in your case).
