Sorta related.... some years ago I saw in an electronic magazine, the
use of aluminum-color paint to form the rings of an electronic
"Fresnel Lens" to receive satellite sigs, i.e. a flat panel instead
of a parabolic dish. I have also wondered how this would perform in
capacitor service, on the inside/outside of a 5 gallon water bottle for
example. Or , it could possibly be copper-plated it it conducts somewhat
but not good enough. Just food for thought.
