    Also since I'm using Iron powder in the toroid it can handle much
higher current without saturating. I am using ferrite toroid chokes
before the bridge rectifier for filtering, and to prevent high surge
current when power is first applied to the large capacitor bank I'm
using( >20,000uf). Also I have a 1.5mH air core choke immediately after
the bridge to aid in filtering, and to limit the rate of charge to the
banked caps.
