I understand the flashover concern is from the alum. sheet on one side of
the plate to the other side of the plate, bypassing the dielectric?? Does
this problem go away if I cut off the alum. on 1 side of the plate in a one
inch strip all the way around edge? When I remove that strip, I'll end up
thinning the dielectric there to perhaps 1/8" vs. the 3/16" elsewhere.
