Fellow Coilers,

I am starting planning a new bigger coil. I have some 14" 
diameter plastic (a cylinderical garbage can) and was wondering 
if it could be used for the secondary. It is about 2'8" tall.
If this is two fat and stubby I can get another so as to be almost
6' tall, and I can cut it to a specific heigth. What kind of power 
does it take for such a wide coil? I am planning on getting a 5kW 
transformer - will that work on this coil? I don't have much 
experience with big coils - the one I have is 3.5" diam.
