      Hi Peter,
                The caps I used are commercialy made. The ones used in
   the first stage of the dubbler can be the same type used in the
   microwaves, as thay have a voltage rating of about 2000 volts.
   The caps used for the final stage of the dubbler will have to have
   a rating of about 4000 volts.   These type of capacitors are easey
   to find at ham fest.
            As for the ballist, I dont recomend resistors. I tryed them
   once and got poor sparks.
          I found that lots of people seem to have dead microwaves
   that thay are willing to get rid of.  Usally the magnitron or
   the controlls are bad, and the stuff we want is ok.
