Interesting, I remeber a few years back there was some negastive 
comments in the TCBA in regard to litz wire and tesla coils.

That explains it, I don't know why but I got the impression you were 
using less energy than that.

You were getting twice your coils length in output thats pretty good
especially for such a small coil!
