As have I, I ran a small coil with no chokes or safety gaps using an
OBT. It
was a simple setup and had a nice brush discharge and 7" streamers to a
grounded prod. It was 6KV -at-23ma and probably got 2 hrs run time before
disassembly of the coil. It is still good and I was impressed with it
