Malcolm,

Thanks for the info.  I think I mistakenly attributed the plasma appearance
to high frequency effects...this may be because many HF coils may also
tend to use high break rates.  It makes sense now that I think about it
more, that the plasma appearance is more related to break-rates than 
frequency.
