List status -- getting back up again! (fwd)

Greetings everyone!
I think I've gotten the list back together somewhat. Here's what
happened:
On Tuesday the 1st or Wednesday the 2nd, my main disk drive died. It had
all the operating system on it, but none of the important list data.
However, there was/is no room on the list disk for the operating system,
so I was dead in the water. As luck would have it, I placed an order for
a new 4G Barracuda drive the day before the other drive crashed. The
order was delayed though because of them having trouble with processing
the order. I got that straightened out, but in the mean time, Storey
Clamp, the moderator of this list, had an extra drive that he FedExed to
me. Three hours after I got his drive, the 4G drive came in as well. I
now have everything assembled and running, and it looks like the list is
running.
It is likely that there were several messages that may have gotten
vaporized, for which I apologize. Storey may be able to mail them out
again if he got them, but who knows what happened while the drive was
dying?
Anyway, let's see how things are going. If you notice odd behaviors,
please let me know at either chip-at-ezlink-dot-com or chip-at-xig-dot-com. (These are
not list processing addresses and should be used for urgent reliable
communication)
